Don’t be fooled by the Internet. It’s cool to get on the computer But don’t let the computer get on you. It’s cool to use the computer Don’t let the computer use you, You all saw The Matrix. There is a war going on on the battlefields in the mind. And the prize is the soul. So be careful. Be very careful. Thank you.

I really don’t like that quote by Douglas Adams (“Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works. Anything that’s invented between when you’re 15 and 35 is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it. Anything invented after you’re 35 is against the natural order of things.”)

It’s a generalization that misses the point. I’m 60 now. I work in technology. I’ve worked in science and technology my whole life.

I have seen and experienced a lot of things. So I do have opinions about new stuff. But I don’t refuse new things.

I’m AuDHD, I crave novelty and change. When everything stays the same for too long, I feel like I’m buried alive.
