I real­ly don’t like that quo­te by Dou­glas Adams (“Any­thing that is in the world when you’­re born is nor­mal and ordi­na­ry and is just a natu­ral part of the way the world works. Any­thing that’s inven­ted bet­ween when you’re 15 and 35 is new and exci­ting and revo­lu­tio­na­ry and you can pro­ba­b­ly get a care­er in it. Any­thing inven­ted after you’­re 35 is against the natu­ral order of things.”)

It’s a gene­ra­liza­ti­on that mis­ses the point. I’m 60 now. I work in tech­no­lo­gy. I’ve work­ed in sci­ence and tech­no­lo­gy my who­le life.

I have seen and expe­ri­en­ced a lot of things. So I do have opi­ni­ons about new stuff. But I don’t refu­se new things.

I’m AuDHD, I cra­ve novel­ty and chan­ge. When ever­y­thing stays the same for too long, I feel like I’m buried ali­ve.
